In these cases, the maintenance of the outer layer of the cable should be strengthened, and asphalt should be regularly applied to the outer protective layer. Four, insulation aging is broken down. During long-term operation, due to poor heat dissipation or overload, the electrical and mechanical properties of the insulating material will deteriorate, and the insulating layer will become brittle or broken. The preventive withstand voltage test of the cable entry should be carried out regularly. When the cable insulation cannot meet the requirements of safe operation, it should be replaced with a new cable in time. Five, improper construction was broken down. Due to poor construction methods and poor quality materials used, the cable head and the weak links in between failed and the insulation was destroyed. During the production and installation of the cable head, the insulation bag should be tight without gaps.
