The protection level of indoor charging piles needs to be at least above IP32, while outdoor charging piles need to face the harsh environment of wind and rain, and need better insulation and lightning protection conditions. At present, the charging piles on the market are mainly one pile, one charging type. Classified by charging type, mainly divided into AC charging piles and DC charging piles. AC charging piles generally have low current, small pile body, flexible installation, and a full charge generally takes 6-8 hours. They are suitable for small passenger electric vehicles and are mostly used in public parking lots, large shopping centers and community garages. Most of the charging piles are AC charging piles. However, DC charging piles generally have high current, and the charging capacity in a short period of time is larger, the pile body is larger, and the occupied area is large (heat dissipation).
