Underground garage charging piles can generally be divided into two types: electric vehicle charging piles and electric bicycle charging piles. Electric vehicle charging piles in underground garages are mainly 7kw and 14kw AC charging piles, while electric bicycle charging piles in underground garages are mainly 10-way. The 7kw and 14kw underground garage AC charging piles input the household 220v AC power into the vehicle charger, and the vehicle charger converts AC power into DC power and inputs it into the vehicle battery. Charging facilities in underground garages, including AC and DC charging facilities, cannot be built to the 4th floor or below. According to the provisions of GBT 51313-2018 6.1.5 of "Engineering Technical Standards for Decentralized Charging Facilities for Electric Vehicles"“The decentralized charging facilities built in the newly built garages should be arranged in a centralized manner in the same fire compartment. When it is installed underground or semi-underground, it should be arranged on the first floor of the underground garage, and should not be arranged on the fourth floor or below of the underground building.”With the development of charging technology, high-power charging facilities have also appeared one after another, so can high-power charging facilities be built in underground garages? At present, high-power charging facilities are still at the level of technology and standards, and it is unlikely that they will be built in underground parking garages, because“The load of high-power charging facilities is too large, and it is difficult for the transformers in underground parking garages to meet such requirements.”High-power charging will only exist as a supplement to charging scenarios, and will not be built on a large scale in underground parking garages.“The underground parking garage is an area for long-term parking, and small and medium power charging facilities can meet the demand. High-power charging facilities are more suitable for ground construction, and are mostly used on roads to speed up charging; or for operating vehicles such as online car-hailing, taxis, etc., and there are relatively few private applications.”.
