New energy vehicle charging piles are generally classified into two types: AC charging piles (slow charging) and DC charging piles (fast charging). If subdivision is required, it can also be divided into floor-mounted charging piles, wall-mounted charging piles, public charging piles, special charging piles, outdoor charging piles, indoor charging piles, one-charge charging piles, and one multi-charge charging piles. New energy vehicle charging piles are generally constructed in conjunction with the parking spaces of parking lots (garages). The protection level of new energy vehicle charging piles installed outdoors should not be lower than IP54, and the protection level of new energy vehicle charging piles installed indoors should not be lower than IP32. . The new energy vehicle AC charging pile technology is simple and mature, and the cost is low, but the charging efficiency is low and the operation value is low. AC charging piles have low requirements on the power grid, and can be directly connected to 220V civilian lines. The power of a single pile is mostly 7kw and 14kw, and there is no need to modify the power grid, which is convenient for maintenance. DC charging piles for new energy vehicles have high power and fast charging, but are costly and complex to implement. They are suitable for specialized centralized operation and maintenance, and the development direction is high power and intelligence. DC charging piles convert alternating current into direct current. The input voltage is 380V, and the power is usually above 30kw. It has high requirements on the power grid. It needs to build a dedicated network and be equipped with harmonic suppression devices. Therefore, it is mostly equipped in centralized fast charging stations. DC charging piles require large-volume transformers and AC-DC conversion modules. The manufacturing and installation costs are about 0.8 yuan/w, and the total price of 30kW DC charging piles is about 20,000 yuan (excluding civil engineering and capacity expansion).
